it's a new day...

Today of all days we shuld all feel uplifted and encouraged, ready to conquer the world.

Today I feel defeated...

I have high hopes for our new president, but I hope that as the excitement of the new changes fade, the feeling of togetherness and readiness to conquer these difficult times ahead remain. I hope we all remain patient as the task he has ahead is no easy one, as he said it may take more than a year or two or a term for that matter. But may the energy and hope and togetherness the country demonstrated today be the power to keep this change engine goin strong as long as it needs.

So as I get ready to lay my head to rest, I hope tomorrow is a new day for me too. I hope this feeling of defeat fades in the back of my head. I hope tomorrow I feel 6'2 and ready to conquer these feelings that are pullin me down. Gnite world! gnite defeat!
